A practical public safety platform created specifically with Belize in mind.
Belize Alert makes important safety information easier to report, organize, find and share when time matters.
The first major focus is Missing Persons. Instead of information being scattered across social posts, messages and individual pages, Belize Alert provides a structured way for reports to be submitted, reviewed, displayed and shared.

The goal is to help important information travel farther without requiring families or reporters to design posters themselves.

Belize Alert is being developed as a practical public-safety resource with safety utilities, emergency information and other resources accessible from within the platform.
Safety Timer
A personal-safety tool intended to provide an additional way for someone to be alerted if a user fails to check in as expected. It does not guarantee safety.
Useful Local Information
A Taxi Directory is being tested to help users find taxi information in a more organized way. It is one of several practical tools being explored.
Designed to Grow With Belize's Safety Community
Separate secure tools for authorized agencies and law-enforcement users are being developed and tested independently from the normal public account experience.

Belize Alert is a JMoss Labs product. It is not a government agency, police department or emergency-response service. Unless a notice or source is specifically identified as coming from an official organization, information displayed through Belize Alert should not be interpreted as official government or law-enforcement communication.
Belize Alert is intended to complement — not replace — existing emergency, law-enforcement and public-safety services. In an emergency, contact the appropriate local authority directly.
Beta Testing
Belize Alert has not yet been publicly released and is currently undergoing beta testing. Screens, features and functionality may change as the service is tested and improved.
